Language Beyond Words

This series of large paintings was inspired by films and poems. They use story to convey archetypical themes of man’s continuing battles both within himself and between others. I have used colour and texture to convey moods and feelings common to all. This series also introduces the use of symbolic patterns and writing. Writing and words in effect being abstract symbols to convey meaning.
